I have always had an appreciation for the beauty around me—colorful flowers, vivid sunsets, the striking architecture of certain buildings, the grace of animals and the twinkle in a child's eyes. My interest in art started at a young age, and while raising a family I enjoyed drawing portraits in pencil and charcoal. But it wasn't until my children had grown that I was finally able to begin exploring my interest in art.

I have been an active member of the Sun Lakes Watercolor Club for over 16 years, and have served as President, Treasurer and Show Chairman. We bring in and host watercolor artists from around the country to conduct workshops for the club members. A partial list would include Wendy Hill, Ila Humble, Raleigh Kinney, Lewis Lehrman, Diane Maxey and Dick Phillips.

A long-standing member of the Arizona Watercolor Association, I currently have paintings in private collections in California, Arizona, Washington and Australia.
